《將死之人》劇情簡介
本劇講述了經曆過血腥動亂後成為皇帝的羅馬皇帝維斯帕先（安東尼·霍普金斯 飾）統治時期的曆史。維斯帕先日漸老邁，他一方麵需要麵對來自羅馬上層貴族精英的鄙夷，一方麵要提防他們欲取而代之的企圖。
該劇是美國康卡斯特公司所屬流媒體平台Peacock推出的角鬥士係列曆史劇之一，劇本靈感來源自美國作家、編劇Daniel P. Mannix於1958年出版的同名曆史著作。該劇由曾指導《獨立日》等著名電影的導演羅蘭·艾默裏奇以及德國導演馬可·克羅伊茨派因特納共同執導本片，《拯救大兵瑞恩》編劇羅伯特·羅達特負責劇本的創作。據報道，除主演安東尼·霍普金斯以外，目前已有湯姆·休斯（飾演提圖斯皇帝，維斯帕先長子）、喬喬·馬卡裏（飾演圖密善皇帝，維斯帕先次子）、洛倫佐·裏凱爾米、薩拉·馬丁斯、迪米特裏·列奧尼達斯、賈布瑞拉·派申、Moe Hashim等演員加盟該劇。該劇將於2...
