天空電視台確定預訂《巴比倫柏林》第三季！前兩季導演兼編劇湯姆·提克威、Henk Handloegten和阿希姆·馮·博裏斯目前正在撰寫劇本，新一季計劃拍攝10集。新一季劇集將背景設定在20世紀30年代，有聲電影征服大銀幕的時候，許多電影人被時代拋棄。一個巨星被發現身亡後，探員格裏安·拉斯(Gereon Rath)發現了這個光鮮亮麗的產業的黑暗麵。新一季將於今年秋季在柏林等地拍攝。
