HBO Max打造的《美少女的謊言》續集劇集《美少女的謊言：原罪》敲定兩位主演：錢德勒·金尼(Chandler Kinney)、瑪雅·萊弗科(Maia Reficco)。故事設定在一個住滿藍領工人的小鎮，20年前這裏曾經發生過一係列悲劇，20年後，故事將圍繞另一群新的少女們展開，她們發現自己被一個不明身份的襲擊者糾纏，被迫為父母當年犯下的秘密罪行而贖罪。《原罪》被描述為“黑暗，憤怒而又恐怖的。”
該劇由麗莎·索珀執導前兩集，羅伯托·安古列·薩卡撒、林賽·布靈操刀劇本。這部《原罪》依舊與之前的係列一樣，根據薩拉·謝潑德(Sara Shepard)的暢銷書係列改編。該劇將於今年夏季在紐約開拍。
