肥寶（洪金寶 飾）整日坑蒙拐騙，不顧父親（洪金寶 飾）的責罰與朋友小海（孟海 飾）搭檔出千騙人，代客泊車的二人見識了女騙子莉莉（利智 飾）的高超手段，欲從中分一杯羹卻被莉莉的仇家盯上。小海被對方捉走當做人質，肥寶要搭救小海，怎奈事事不順，遂遷怒於自己去世的“賭王”爺爺洪九（洪金寶 飾）。洪九不甘被孫子侮辱，加之為了向仇人及其後代尋仇，其怨靈重返人家，幫助肥寶在賭場上大殺四方，並成功救回了小海。得到好處的肥寶想擺脫洪九，但終因親情而作罷。肥寶依計喬裝成大陸領導接近仇家為祖父報仇，將父親和莉莉也牽涉其中……
