抗戰時期，考古學家馬良（呂涼 飾）的一次重大寶物發現，引起了國民黨和日本人及青龍幫的關注。馬良與邂逅的美專學生楊玲（蓋麗麗 飾）結伴來到藏寶地，發現一時隱時現的持劍人。守屋老者（李天濟 飾）告訴他，凡闖藏寶“千柱屋”者必死無疑。幾日後，馬良被突然而至的賣藝人劫持，幸得淩空而降的黑衣俠相救。楊玲誤踏賊人所設機關，馬良機智救下楊玲，並在太平軍首領靈柩處發現了《何氏家譜》。此時，慕寶而來的各路人馬狹路相逢，大打出手。而馬良和楊玲則在他人保護下逃離是非之地，一直暗中相助的算命先生揭穿楊玲日本特務身份，楊惱羞成怒，開槍打死算命先生，撲向寶盆......
